Since 2004 SCHOLA EMPIRICA organizes Prague Summer Schools, which brought more than one thousand students from all over the World into Prague and has over the time become one of the largest independent summer programs for university students in Europe.

D.[Program Director and Academic Director of the Summer School on Crime, Law and Psychology][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Egle serves as an executive director at SCHOLA EMPIRICA since its foundation 2003. In November 2004, Egle Havrdová defended her PhD. thesis in the Department of Social Policy, Institute for Sociological Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. From 2004 to 2005, she was a Marie Curie Fellow at the Department of Criminology of Keele University, which is among the top UK’s research centers dealing with crime prevention. Her research interests include pre-school education, youth crime prevention and social work. In addition to her academic work, Egle has extensive experience in program management. She coordinated education programs and the Fund for American Studies, Washington, USA, and co-founded Prague Summer Schools in 2003. She also served as expert on policy evaluation for the European Commission.

[Program Coordinator][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]During her undergraduate studies in Sociology and Social Policy she participated in
participatory research at The Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR Prague). In
cooperation with Charles University, she analysed data from sociological surveys of students
and as an external researcher she worked with the Ministry of Education on the evaluation of strategy implementation. She is now continuing her studies in Sociology, where she
wants to focus her master’s thesis on research on Czech education, which is for her passion
and elephant in the room at the same time. Her hobbies include organizing various events

She provides coordination, guidance and instructions to the Prague Summer Schools team. She delegates work and oversees the progress of the project.
In Schola Empirica she is engaged in human resources as well as educational projects. For over 15 years, she has been intensively dedicated to various educational projects, language teaching, children’s informal education as well as family mediation. She likes to spend her free time with her family, travelling, yoga and creative drama.

[Program Assistant][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Tereza is currently studying International Relationships at Charles University in Prague. In NGO Schola Empirica she helps out with the Prague Summer Schools organization. She is also involved in Erasmus + project Diversity+ which focuses on inclusion in early childhood education. She has experience in teaching children and her main field of interest is in informal education – namely teaching children about nature. She is very happy to work and communicate with people and organize interesting events.
